Computer Operations Division

The Computer Operations Division supports the faculty and staff of the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy and their IT needs. Any equipment not purchased with Rutgers funds will not be supported. If you need personal computer support please visit http://computer-repair.rutgers.edu/

  • If you are a faculty or a staff member at the School of Pharmacy and have a computer issue or inquiry, we ask that you submit a work order. This can be done at http://rx.rutgers.edu. To log in use your current email address and a password that you've set. If you have trouble logging in or are logging in for the first time, please use the 'forgot password' button.
  • If you are a NEW School of Pharmacy employee, please register here to create an account.
  • If you are a fellow or are part of a lab, you'll need to use a group account, please click here to obtain the proper login for your corresponding lab.

Obtaining a Net ID and Email address (employees on payroll)

  • Prior to use of Rutgers University computing and information technology resources you must obtain a Net ID and agree to the policies set forth here. For more information on NetID's please see: https://netid.rutgers.edu/.
  • If you are a Rutgers alum and have had a Net ID in the past, but are not sure what it is please call 732-445-HELP (4357) to verify your account.

Employees not yet on payroll

The new RIAS III system has replaced the need for the "new hire" form.  The payroll/human resources person in Pharmacy can add new hires to RIAS with a start date in the future.  Once University Human Resources approves the information, the new employee will be able to create a NetID as a regular employee. (The person will not be able to access the RIAS system itself until the start date, however.)
